BKG Energy Limited was incorporated in 1980 and is a listed entity since 1982.

The Company is presently functioning as the investment arm of the Group for all its investments made in Victor Cables Corporation Ltd & Standard Wiring Systems Ltd.

The Company is also evaluating setting up of a 10 MW Solar Energy producing plant in the State of Gujarat or Rajasthan and is in discussions with environmental bodies & Financial institutions for funding and clearances of the same.

Social Responsibility

The Management strongly believes in giving back to the society what it has received from it and is involved in philanthropy funded personally by the family & Trusts.

Some of the institutions that have received our funding are – Prime Minister's National Relief Fund , DAV Institution, Cancer Foundation, Bhai Parmanand Trust, etc.

The family Trust of the fore-fathers founded the Pannalal Girdharlal DAV College (PGDAV College) situated at Ring Road, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi and which is a constituent of the University of Delhi.

Besides this, the family has also established Bhagirathi Devi Arya Samaj Girls Sr Secondary School in Old Delhi where over 450 girls from poor and un-affordable families are imparted education upto Secondary level.

Our Chairman, Mr Shivraj K. Gupta is a member on the Governing Boards of PGDAV College and Bhagirathi Devi Arya Samaj Girls Sr.Secondary School,Delhi. He is also a member of the Rogi Kalyan Samiti which is the functioning body of LNJP Hospital (formerly Irwin Hospital), New Delhi
